Enjoy a relaxing overnight stay or weekend getaway in this Historic Inn. All of the rooms are decorated in period antiques and setup with modern conveniences. Spend time in historic Hanoverton, Ohio, enjoy cocktails in the Spread Eagle Rathskeller, sample our menu in one of many unique settings in the Tavern and then relax in one of our spectacular guestrooms.

Guest Rooms at the Inn (includes full breakfast for two). Though many of the guest rooms have fireplaces, unfortunately none of them can be lighted for your overnight stay.

Lincoln Room - $225

Full size Canopy Bed, Two Fireplaces, Private Bath with Antique Claw Foot Tub and Shower - 2nd Floor. This room was the ballroom for the original Tavern; the wood wall behind the bed is actually made of doors that would fold back to revealthe second half of the ballroom. When Lincoln was traveling from Alliance to Wellsville he stopped in Hanover and gave a speech in front of the fireplace in this room.

Washington Room - $250

King size Canopy Bed, Two decorative Fireplaces, Private Bath with Walk in Shower, and Sitting Area - 3rd Floor

Van Buren Room - $125

May be the smallest Guest Room, but also the coziest... with Full size Bed, Private Bath with Walk In Shower - 2nd Floor

Madison Room - $175

Queen size Bed, Decorative Fireplace, Private Bath, and Sitting Area - 2nd Floor

Jefferson Room - $200

Complete with resident ghost - Queen Size Bed, Two Fireplaces, Private Bath with Walk In Shower - 3rd Floor. This room is where the Sandy & Beaver Order of the Free and Accepted Masons was organized. It also is the former bedroom of Olivina, our resident ghost, she is known as the lady in the window, in the late 1800's she hung herself out one of the windows in the room with a bed sheet.
